Q Technology (丘鈦科技), a Hong Kong-listed maker of camera modules for phones, cars and other devices, sold about 1.18 million automotive products in September, according to an [Oct. 12 filing](https://www1.hkexnews.hk/listedco/listconews/sehk/2026/1012/2026101200667.pdf?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io). That was up 29.2% from a year earlier and up 32.7% from August, and the highest of the nine months it has reported for 2026\.

The category covers camera modules, lidar products and related parts for cars. Q Technology credited customer project cycles and a sharp rise in sales of its camera modules and lidar products for smart vehicles; it didn't give a separate lidar figure.

Its phone modules, which make up most of its unit sales, moved the other way. Q Technology sold about 50.2 million mobile products in September, down 19.7% year on year; phone camera modules alone fell 16.7%.

"The YoY decrease in the sales volume of mobile products was mainly attributable to the weak demand in the smartphone market, which was impacted by rising memory prices," the document stated.

From January through September, Q Technology sold about 6.9 million automotive products, against about 473.7 million mobile products.

Q Technology doesn’t name its automotive customers, but says its products were on 77 vehicle models by the end of 2025, and is an approved supplier to 35 car brands.
