Mirle (盟立自動化), a Taiwanese maker of systems that move materials around factories, reported September revenue of NT$997.9 million (about US$30.7 million), up 78% from a year earlier. Its growth has quickened every month since February, when it was 7.8%. Mirle said the increase came mainly from more semiconductor orders.

Mirle built its business automating display-panel plants and warehouses. [Mirle's investor slides](https://www.mirle.com.tw/investors/information-download/0/319/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io) from December 2025 show semiconductor equipment systems rising from 19% of revenue in 2022 to 57% in 2025, while panel automation's share fell each year. [Mirle](https://www.mirle.com.tw/en/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io), based in Hsinchu Science Park, says its 2025 revenue came mainly from material-handling systems for chip packaging and testing plants, substrate plants and front-end wafer fabs. It builds its own [overhead hoist transfer](https://www.mirle.com.tw/solution-detail/42%5F%5F12/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io) (OHT) vehicles, which run on ceiling tracks and carry wafer pods between tools.

One buyer has disclosed its purchases. ASE Technology Holding (日月光投控) [disclosed](https://mops.twse.com.tw/mops/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io#/web/t05st01) on Oct. 5 that its packaging subsidiary [SPIL](https://www.spil.com.tw/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io) (矽品精密工業) bought NT$2.03 billion (about US$62.3 million) of machinery from Mirle in seven lots between Sept. 9 and Oct. 5\. That is more than a quarter of Mirle's 2025 revenue, by our calculation. The filing doesn't name the machines or say when Mirle will book the sales. ASE has also been [buying from other Taiwanese toolmakers](https://asia-tech-news.ghost.io/loss-making-taiwanese-toolmaker-lands-us-33-million-in-deals-with-ase/).

Mirle's 2025 revenue fell 10.95% from 2024 to NT$6.68 billion (about US$206 million), and it said tariffs left revenue from its logistics-automation systems below expectations. [September's revenue](https://mopsov.twse.com.tw/nas/t21/sii/t21sc03%5F115%5F9%5F0.html?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io) was about 25% above September 2024, by our calculation. January-September revenue of NT$6.82 billion (about US$210 million) already exceeds all of 2025\. Its [latest quarterly report](https://www.mirle.com.tw/investors/finance-download/1/finance-2026/data%5Ffile%5Fq2/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io) shows a second-quarter net profit of NT$86.1 million (about US$2.6 million), against a loss of NT$123.6 million (about US$3.8 million) a year earlier.

Five other Taiwan-listed robot and automation companies we track, the largest of them [Hiwin](https://www.hiwin.tw/?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io) (上銀), grew about 27% combined in September from a year earlier, by our calculation. Worldwide, chip-equipment billings rose 23% from a year earlier in the second quarter, [according to industry group SEMI](https://www.semi.org/en/semi-press-release/global-semiconductor-equipment-billings-increased-23-percent-year-over-year-in-q2-2026-semi-reports?ref=asia-tech-news.ghost.io).
