Across all of its customers, the company's total fleet size is some 30,000 vans in 20 countries.

Zelostech (九识智能), a Suzhou-based maker of driverless delivery vans, will deliver 10,000 vehicles to China Post this year, co-founder and chief technology officer Zhuang Li (庄立) told Shanghai Securities News (上海证券报). The vans carry parcels on rural routes. A web search found no statement from China Post confirming the figure.

That would be more than the 7,000 vans in the four-year leasing tender held in 2025 by China Post's express-delivery arm. Under that tender, China Post leases the vans rather than buying them. Zelostech was the main supplier for four of the tender's eight lots, covering 3,661 vans, and first in line as backup supplier for the lots it didn't win, Jiemian (界面新闻) reported.

Zelostech's fleet took five years to reach 30,000 vans across all of its customers, which operate in 20 countries. Zelostech's AI technology extends to customer service, too. Zhuang said an AI "safety officer" agent has cut the time it takes to step in when a van needs help from minutes to under 10 seconds.

At China Post's Shaanxi branch, 105 of Zelostech's vans cover ten cities in the northwestern province, the company says. China Post has also tested Meituan's driverless vans on rural routes in Shandong, in eastern China.
