China-based rival also doubled its revenue.

Line chart of Ta Liang Technology's yearly shipments of high-end camera-guided machines for making circuit boards, 2023 to 2025, rising steeply in the latest year.

Ta Liang Technology (大量科技), a Taiwan maker of circuit-board drilling machines, took in more revenue in the first nine months of 2026 than in all of 2025. Its monthly revenue filings show NT$8.5 billion (about US$262 million) from January through September, two-thirds more than its 2025 total, by our calculation. September revenue, NT$1.3 billion (about US$40 million), was up 172% from a year earlier.

The filings credit only customer demand. By our reading, the driver is back-drilling for AI-server boards: drilling out the unused stub of a plated hole in a thick, many-layered board so it doesn't distort high-speed signals. Ta Liang shipped 501 of its high-end camera-guided machines in 2025, nearly triple the 2024 figure, and its March investor presentation showed confirmed orders for 456 more in 2026.

Ta Liang is headquartered in Taoyuan but also builds machines in Nanjing and Lianshui in mainland China. Most of its drilling machines were sold there, with sales in Taiwan and Thailand growing, its general manager at the time told Anue (鉅亨網) in September 2025.

A far larger mainland rival also doubled its revenue. Han's CNC (大族数控), a Shenzhen company whose revenue comes mostly from drilling machines, said in preliminary, unaudited figures filed Oct. 15 that nine-month revenue doubled to RMB 7.8 billion (about US$1.17 billion). It credited demand for high-end AI circuit boards. Han's CNC is about 73% owned by Han's Laser (大族激光).
